This way, we can double the grid’s capacity without breakin’ the bank or takin’ forever to get it done.
The study says that reconductoring could meet most of our transmission needs by 2035 if we play our cards right. It’s way faster than building new lines, can save us a ton of cash, and lets us use more renewables and less yucky stuff that pollutes.
